BJP National President’s Maharastra Pravas

BJP National President Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda, during his one-day pravas to Mumbai and Pune, participated in the Amrit Kalash compilation programme at Lahuji Ustad Memorial, Pune on September 26, 2023. He also addressed the ‘Meri Maati, Mera Desh’ programme at Pune. He inaugurated Amrit Vatika and also planted saplings. Earlier, he had worshipped Lalbaugcha Raja Ganapati.

‘Meri Maati, Mera Desh’

While congratulating and wishing the countrymen on Ganpati Pujan, Shri Nadda said that today, I feel proud to participate in the ‘Meri Maati, Mera Desh’ programme at the College of Engineering (CoEP). Today, vice chancellors, faculty, deans, professors, students, and volunteers from 22 universities have gathered here. They have brought soil and plants from their respective campuses and homes, from which Amrit Vatika has been created. ‘Meri Maati, Mera Desh’ is a programme to create public awareness about the unity and integrity of the nation. We are fortunate to be participating in this historic event. Bringing soil from every house, every village, and every municipality; planting 75 trees in every district and every panchayat; honouring the martyrs; installing plaques in their honour in every village; building Amrit Vatika—this is a programme that is directly related to patriotism and connects people emotionally. This programme will reach from the district to the state level and then to Delhi. A tree plantation programme also took place in every village.

Shri Nadda said that the ‘Meri Maati, Mera Desh’ programme has also been linked to the environment. During this programme, 75 saplings are being planted in every village, every block, and every district. Today, the brave woman Sadhna ji is present among us with a feeling of patriotism. Just a few days ago, a mountain of sorrows had fallen upon her. We all salute such brave women. Our effort is that no martyr should be left behind in any village; they should be given due respect, whether they have sacrificed their lives for the security of the country while in the army or have sacrificed their lives while being in the paramilitary or for the welfare of the society while in the police. Martyrs are being honoured in every village, and plaques are being installed in their honour so that the coming generations can learn from their bravery and join hands in nation building. More than 8,000 Amrit Kalash from 7500 blocks and 500 municipalities will reach Delhi and Amrit Vatika will be built there.

Goal of Developed India

The BJP National President said that we have come out of Amrit Varsh and have reached Amrit Kaal. Under the leadership of Shri Narendra Modi, we have set out with the aim that in 2047, when the country will be celebrating the hundredth anniversary of independence, then India will be a ‘Developed India’. You all are fortunate that you will witness India moving from ‘developing to a developed’ nation. Our every moment, every minute should be spent developing the country.

Shri Nadda said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, India is setting new records of success in every field.

Shri Nadda said we are fortunate that we have the opportunity to participate in the ‘Meri Maati, Mera Desh’ programme. Let us all come together to make it successful and work dedicatedly towards the goal of ‘Developed India’.
