‘People’s hearts in Ayodhya as big as Prabhu Shri Ram’

After praying to Prabhu Shri Ram at the Ramjanmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra in Ayodhya, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi held a spectacular roadshow in the iconic city of Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh on May 5, 2024. This was Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s first visit to the Ram temple in Ayodhya after the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony held on January 22. The entrance gates to the temple were decorated with flowers, with ‘Om’ formed with yellow petals. Replicas of a bow and an arrow made using flowers were also seen at various places.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Miniter Yogi Adityanath also visited Ram Temple and reviewed the arrangement ahead of the PM’s visit. He accompanied Shri Modi during the 2 km-long roadshow. The roadshow started from Sugriva Fort on Ram Path was concluded at Lata Mangeshkar Chowk.

After the mega roadshow, on X the PM, Shri Modi said, “People’s hearts in Ayodhya are as big as Prabhu Shri Ram. Greetings to the people who came to give blessings in the roadshow,” the PM posted.

A record number of people gathered to greet the PM and cheer for the Bharatiya Janata Party. People chanted ‘Jai Shri Ram,’ ‘Modi Modi,’ ‘Bharat Mata ki Jai’ and ‘Phir Ek Baar Modi Sarkar.’ The atmosphere was electric as supporters showered flower petals, creating a vibrant display of affection and support as the PM’s convoy made its way through the city.
