Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist-Centre) delegation meets with BJP National President

A five-member delegation of the Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist-Centre) met with Bharatiya Janata Party National President Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda at the BJP HQ on 24 July, 2023 and discussed further strengthening the age-old traditional ties between India and Nepal. The delegation is visiting India on the invitation of Bharatiya Janata Party under the KNOW BJP initiative.

During the discussion the delegates appreciated various programmes and initiatives of BJP. Shri Nadda ji also elaborated on the party’s organisational structure and its grassroot activities. He expressed hope that Nepal will chart the rapid path of development and the Indian Government under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will extend full cooperation through the government’s neighbourhood first policy.

Ms. Pampha Bhusal, Vice Chairperson of CPN (Maoist-Centre) is leading the delegation. The other members of the delegation are – Mr. Chakrapani Khanal (Secretary), Ms. Satya Pahadi (Standing Committee Member), Mr. Rameshwar Ray Yadav (Central Committee Member) & Mr. Suresh Kumar Rai (Central Committee Member).
