Union Home Minister addresses ‘Vijay Sankalp’ rallies in Gujarat
Ahead of the first phase of the Gujarat Assembly Elections, Union Home and Cooperation Minister Shri Amit Shah on a whirlwind tour to the poll-bound state addressed several massive ‘Vijay Sankalp’ rallies in various places of the state. Apart from rallies, he has also participated in several Roadshows in various constituencies.

Addressing a Vijay Sankalp rally in Khambhalia (Dwarka) on 21 November, 2022 Union Home and Cooperation Minister Shri Amit Shah said under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi the grand and historic victory of the Bharatiya Janata Party is certain in Gujarat assembly elections. A new era of peace, prosperity, growth and development has also begun in Gujarat but unfortunately, the Congress party is unable to digest the growth and progress of Gujarat and that the people have rejected it completely.
Shri Shah said the foundation stone of the Narmada dam project was laid by the then Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru in 1961, but the Congress party persistently betrayed Gujarat and its people by putting barriers in the construction of this mega project which was very crucial for the progress and prosperity of the state. Four generations of the Congress ruled the nation but still the Kutch-Saurashtra region of Gujarat suffered due to the extreme water crisis. The successive Congress party governments forced the people of Gujarat to suffer.
When Shri Narendra Modi became the Chief Minister of Gujarat, he set the target for the early completion of the Sardar Sarovar Dam project. In 2017 Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi dedicated this project to the nation.

‘Congress made all efforts to wipe out Sardar Patelji, his works and achievements’
Speaking to the people at Kodinar (Gir Somnath) Shri Amit Shah said the Gandhi-Nehru family of the Congress party made all efforts to wipe out Sardar Patel ji, his works and achievements from our history. Till the time there was the Congress party government at the Centre, neither any national museum of Sardar Patel was made nor he was given Bharat Ratna. It is Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi who made the world’s tallest memorial – Statue of Unity – in the honour and remembrance of Sardar Patel ji.
The Congress party is saying in Gujarat that its works speak volumes. There has been a Bharatiya Janata Party government in Gujarat for the past 27 years, so whose work are they talking about?

‘Law and order situation in Gujarat improves remarkably’
Union Home and Cooperation Minister Shri Amit Shah in Mangrole (Junagarh) said the double engine government of the BJP used bulldozers to remove all encroachments in Dwarka and all the mess was removed. This led to the end of all anti India activities and smuggling rackets in Dwarka.
During the Congress party government Gujarat used to see 250 curfew days every year as the law and order situation in the state was deplorable. But during the Bharatiya Janata Party government curfew became a thing of the past. The law and order situation in the state improved remarkably in Gujarat under the Bharatiya Janata Party government.
For the Congress party the base of fighting elections in Gujarat is casteism, vote bank politics and politics of appeasement. But for the Bharatiya Janata Party the elections are fought on the basis of development, industrialisation, growth and prosperity.
