Interacting with the beneficiaries, the BJP National President said the Narendra Modi government’s free ration scheme PMGKAY benefitted 80 crore people and did not allow the country’s poverty level to increase despite the pandemic and resultant lockdown. He said, “The Modi government is ‘’proactive, pro-responsive and pro-people’’. Salient points of the address of Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda;
• Under the leadership and guidance of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi the Bharatiya Janata Party is running a pro-active, pro-responsive and pro – people government at the Centre. The Bharatiya Janata Party government is committed and dedicated towards welfare, upliftment and empowerment of every citizen.

• The Bharatiya Janata Party is observing the fortnight between April 07 and 20 as ‘Social Justice Fortnight’ (Samajik Nyay Pakhwada) and under this today is dedicated to the PM Gareeb Kalyan Anna Yojna. Today, the Bharatiya Janata Party workers are visiting the PDS centers to ensure that not a single needy and poor should get benefits of the Yojna and not a single beneficiary is deprived of their rights.
• Immediately after the announcement of lockdown due to the Corona pandemic Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi immediately started the ‘Pradhan Mantri Gareeb Kalyan Anna Yojna’ so that not a single person or family does not sleep empty stomach or have to suffer hunger. This important scheme shows the foresightedness and compassion of our Prime Minister.
• Under the Pradhan Mantri Gareeb Kalyan Anna Yojna, from April 2020 to till today, the Narendra Modi Government has continuously provided free ration to 80 crore people across the country. The ration package also includes 5 kg additional wheat and rice besides 1 kg pulses.

WHO applauds the efforts of PM MODI

Qouting the World Health Organization (WHO) Shri Nadda said, “ WHO has applauded the efforts of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi on international platforms. WHO has said that countries across the world should learn from Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi how to work during the pandemic and serve humanity”.

“World Health Organization has also said Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, through the Pradhan Mantri Gareeb Kalyan Anna Yojna, has shown the world how to work during the pandemic because apart from providing health and medical care, it is imperative for the government to ensure that food is provided to every citizen and good care is taken of the needy and poor citizens”.

186 CRORE CORONA VACCINE DOSES GIVEN

India is among the very few nations which developed its own vaccine to save their citizens during the Corona pandemic. So far over 186 crore Corona vaccine doses have been given across the country. Now even kids who are above 12 years of age are also getting vaccine doses, while all adults are getting a third dose of vaccine.

When the Corona vaccination drive was started during the peak of the pandemic, it was the Congress party and the Delhi Chief Minister who had raised doubts over the efficacy and trial results of the ‘Made In India’ vaccines. And after spreading this canard they themselves took the vaccines developed by our scientists. Today, they are keeping mum as the world has recognized the efforts of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi in developing the ‘Made In India’ vaccines and saving precious lives during the Corona pandemic.

He said in Delhi there are around 74 lakh PDS beneficiaries. Our workers are visiting all PDS centers across Delhi and helping the beneficiaries in getting ration. Our workers will ensure that all needy and poor people get their ration and their rights are safeguarded.
