As more than 85% of eligible population receives first dose of Covid-19 vaccine and more than 50% of the eligible population gets both doses of the vaccine, the world watches India with a sense of amazement and admiration. The world’s largest, fastest and free vaccination drive has seen record achievements when the vaccination crossed one crore mark in a day several times while crossing 2.5 crore vaccination in a single day as a gift to the Prime Minister on his birthday. The most incredible achievement is that these records have been made on the strength of ‘Made in India’ vaccines which were made available free of cost to everyone in the country. It was made possible by the faith of the nation in the capabilities of Indian scientists, researchers, entrepreneurs and pharma sector which produced these vaccines in record time. Today, these vaccines have not only proven a big boon for India but for the entire humanity across the world.

The Modi government has once again extended the free ration to 80 crore people under PM-GKAY making the scheme available till March 2022. It may be noted that the scheme was started in the wake of Covid-19 pandemic providing huge relief to 80 crore poor people who had to face extreme challenges of the lockdowns during the period. In the challenging times of Covid-19 pandemic, India under the dynamic and charismatic leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi not only resolved to convert every challenge into opportunity but took care of poor, farmers, migrant labourers, women, divyaangs, senior citizens and other vulnerable sections of the society. Apart from providing many reliefs, initiatives like ‘Aatmnirbhar Bharat’ campaign was launched imputing a new confidence in the nation. The nation was made proud by the indefatigable spirit of doctors, nurses, medical staffs, lab workers, administrative officers and staffs and Corona warriors who committed themselves to the selfless service to the people.
As the nation took steps preparing for post-Covid world under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, today we find India coming out of this global crisis making its presence felt in almost every sector of economy. Today, the GDP numbers are showing smart recovery, GST collections are boosting confidence as the economy as India seems to be poised for a huge leap in the coming years. Even in the face of the challenges posed by the pandemic, most of the infrastructure related projects are getting completed ahead of their scheduled time while India is racing towards fulfilling its commitments on environmental concerns. In almost every sector India is moving ahead with hope and confidence.

Today, when India is about to administer at least one dose to every eligible citizens, the world acknowledges the power of India’s national unity while appreciating its resolve to stand strong in the face of every challenge. There is no doubt that the united spirit of India can overcome any challenge.
